The reconstruction of this 56,000-square-foot historic building back into a 95-room hotel was completed in December 2010. This building was originally built in the 1920s or 1930s as a hotel serving the Baton Rouge area. During the ’60s and ’70s, several of the floors were used as an office building. The building was then abandoned for several years before being purchased and revitalized as the Indigo Hotel. National Register of Historic Places Reference No. 358107.
