Project Overviewx

The Patient Care Unit expansion at the Baton Rouge General Medical Center at Bluebonnet campus is a 60,000-square-foot addition to the existing hospital. This expansion added two floors to the existing four-story Patient Care Tower. The four existing floors remained fully operational during the entire construction duration. The two new floors include 64 patient rooms, conference space and various offices. The building was designed by WHLC Architects and is composed of structural steel and precast concrete.
