The Baton Rouge Community College parking garage, with a capacity of 1,000 cars, is a 355,000-square-foot, precast garage with three stair towers and two elevators. This was the first of five design/build projects for the BRCC campus expansion and was a high priority as additional parking was needed immediately due to the fast growth of enrollment. The precast structure with arched exterior panels, brick-clad columns and stair towers was completed from design to turnover in nine-month with actual construction time being completed in six months.
